The internship organized on 5-9 August, will be participated by three Georgian Specialists. During the visit our Georgian partners will have an opportunity to become acquainted with:

· Polish experience in the field of drug prevention,

· overview of the national Drugs Strategy, the Strategy stakeholders, their roles, forms of collaboration, ways of networking,

· prevention measures, campaigns etc.,

· data collection and monitoring of the phenomenon of drugs in Poland,

· cooperation with local governments at different levels as well with the civil society representatives.

Furthermore, on 26-30 August Merkury Foundation from Walbrzych organizes another internship. That meeting relates to the internet counseling issues and will be attended by two Georgian colleagues who will be responsible for development and implementation such internet counseling centre in Georgia.

During the visit Georgian colleagues will be able to take a close look at the work of the specialists and get familiar with the nature of online counselling. The Interns will get familiar with the techniques of online counselling and will also watch Polish colleagues provide counsel via email, telephone and instant messaging. They will also be provided with information on the advantages and challenges of providing such services. Moreover, they will be shown methods of developing and running a drug counselling  website.
