Artur Malczewski

Head of CINN (Reitox Focal Point)

Sociologist. Graduate of the Institute of Applied Social Sciences at Warsaw University. Mr. Malczewski has been working for the National Bureau for Drug Prevention since 1999. Deputy spokesman for the Reitox Focal Point EMCDDA. Polish representative at the Horizontal Working Party on Drugs in Brussels. Mr. Malczewski has participated in a number of international projects on drug monitoring development (Turkey, FYRM, Serbia), drug prevention (Georgia), the European Quality Standards in Drug Prevention (EDPQS) and the new psychoactive substances (I-Trend). Mr. Malczewski has written over 150 publications on drugs and drug addiction, which have been published in Polish and English.

 

Michał Kidawa

Senior specialist

Political scientist. Graduate of the Institute of Social Prevention and Rehabilitation at Warsaw University. Mr. Kidawa has been working for the National Bureau for Drug Prevention since 2005.  His specialization is analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, drug research and monitoring of new trends and phenomena related to new psychoactive substances (so-called legal highs). Mr. Kidawa is responsible for the establishment, coordination and development of the Polish Unit of Early Warning System on New Drugs. He is also involved in the development of the Treatment Demand Indicator. Mr. Kidawa also participates in creating and extending data collection and processing systems for the Polish Focal Point in the scope of IT solutions. Mr Kidawa is the author of dozens of publications on drugs and drug addiction.

 

Łukasz Jędruszak

Senior specialist

Graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Sciences at Warsaw University. Mr. Jędruszak has been working for the National Bureau for Drug Prevention since 2005 and for the Polish Focal Point since January 2012. Mr. Jędruszak is responsible for the cooperation with drug-related agencies of the EU, UN and the Council of Europe. Along with the experts of the Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police Headquarters, he participates in monthly sessions of the Horizontal Working Party on Drugs (HDG) of the Council of the European Union. During the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2011, Mr. Jędruszak participated in the works of the presidency HDG team. He was also a representative of the Polish government to the works of the Pompidou Group of the Council of Europe during the Polish Presidency of the Group in 2007-2010.

 

Anna Strzelecka 

Specialist

Political scientist. Graduate of the Social Prevention and Rehabilitation Institute at Warsaw University and the Postgraduate Pedagogical Studies at Warsaw University of Technology. Ms. Strzelecka has been working for the Polish Focal Point since 2008. Her job responsibilities include Treatment Demand Indicator and cooperation with provincial TDI experts. Ms. Strzelecka also coordinates works related to the research competition and collaborates with non-governmental organizations running harm reduction programmes.

 

Anna Misiurek

Specialist

Pedagogue and sociologist. Graduate of the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences at the Academy of Special Pedagogics and the Institute of Sociology at Warsaw University. Ms. Misiurek has been working for the Polish Focal Point since 2011. She is responsible for the indicator of drug prevalence in the general population, analysis of quantitative data from drug research and monitoring as well as reporting and processing data on the implementation of the National Drugs Strategy. Ms. Misiurek also participated in the works of the Early Warning System.

 

Magdalena Leszczyńska

Psychologist. Graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Finance and Management in Warsaw. In specialist drug therapy and rehabilitation training at the Institute of Health Psychology of the Polish Psychological Association. At present, in the process of certification in Drug Therapy Specialist. Ms. Leszczyńska has been working for the National Bureau for Drug Prevention since 2014. Her main job responsibilities include handling the TDI indicator and preparing National Reports for the EMCDDA. Moreover, Ms. Leszczyńska processes data on the implementation of the National Drugs Strategy.
