Anti-drug actions are taken mainly under the National Programme for Counteracting Drug Addiction. In order to assess the progress of implementing the national drug strategy, reporting questionnaires have been used since 2002 to monitor the strategy activities. Data are provided by central institutions, Marshal Offices and communes. In the case of local governments data are collected with the support of Provincial Drug Experts. Data on activities performed are presented in the form of Information on the implementation of the National Programme and report published in professional press. Drug prevention activities under the National Programme are carried out by central institutions (e.g. Ministry of National Education, KBPN) as well as local governments. Communes and Marshal Offices usually get involved in universal prevention. Indicated or selective prevention activities are far less frequent.
