Central institutions
Monitoring drugs and drug addiction is connected with obtaining statistical data and information from various reporting systems and indicators. Gaining a relatively full picture of the phenomenon requires cooperation with key institutions which act in the field of counteracting drug addiction or are statutorily related to drugs and drug addiction.

As a consequence, the Information Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (CINN) of the National Bureau for Drug Prevention regularly cooperates with central institutions which represent various ministries and hold data on demand and supply reduction. The Centre collects data through reports of various entities involved in the National Programme for Counteracting Drug Addiction. Thanks to this information exchange system it is possible to obtain the most up-to-date data.

The Information Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (CINN) collects data and cooperates with the following central institutions and ministries: the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology, National Institute of Public Health – National Institute of Hygiene, Central Statistical Office, Police, Central Forensic Laboratory, Border Guard, Military Police, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Ministry of National Education, Central Management Board of Prison Service, National AIDS Centre, Main Pharmaceutical Inspector, Chief Sanitary Inspector, Ministry of Interior and Administration, Ministry of Justice, Attorney General, General Inspector of Financial Information, Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
