Monitoring helps to take quick and flexible action. Conclusions from the monitoring may serve to develop or modify a Communal Programme for Counteracting Drug Addiction. In the course of developing the monitoring a national conference for representatives of communes is held every year. Moreover, in some provinces e.g. mazowieckie, łódzkie, wielkopolskie or śląskie, Provincial Drug Experts organize trainings for new communes wishing to join the project. The trainings are supported by a monitoring handbook and articles on monitoring methodology in professional press. Communes interested in the monitoring can contact a provincial drug expert to obtain information about trainings.
